Position Overview:
Revilot Career Connections seeks a knowledgeable and dependable IT Technician to support our clients' day-to-day technical operations. The ideal candidate will install, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network systems while ensuring smooth technology performance across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, systems, and printers
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in-person and remotely
- Monitor system performance and ensure the security of data, network access, and backup systems
- Provide technical support to users and respond to service requests promptly
- Maintain documentation of system configurations, updates, and maintenance logs
- Assist with onboarding of new users and systems
- Support routine system upgrades and coordinate with external vendors as needed
Qualifications:
- Associate or bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Proven experience as an IT Technician or in a similar technical support role
- Proficiency with Windows/Mac OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and networking systems
- Familiarity with system imaging, virus protection, backup tools, and troubleshoot
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills
- Ability to lift and move computer hardware and equipment as needed
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, VPNs, firewalls, or ticketing systems
- IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional
- Knowledge of cloud services, VoIP, or virtual environments (e.g., Azure, AWS)
